You are invited to join Girl Book Club 2008. Makayla's Book Club starts this Thursday. Four consecutive weeks of discussion, socialization, and fun while you complete the summer reading requirement for 

Dates: July 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st.

Time: 7-9pm

Details: We'll provide the space, refreshments, and ride home.

Bonus: Back to School Party Aug. 28th. (More details to follow)

Book Title: "Olive's Ocean" by Kevin Henkes (click for the review)

• July 10th: Introduction to the book. Pick up book and schedule of reading. (Bring $7.00) Socialize!
  
• July 17th: Discussion on first third of the book. Introduction of characters, setting, and genre. Discuss debate options.
  
• July 24th: Debate Night! Speculating the ending. Join the debate prior to the book club meeting. (More to come...)
  
• July 31st: Rewards Night! Reward yourself for a job well done. Opinions, opinions, opinions...bring them.
