You are invited to join Girl Book Club 2009. Makayla's Book Club starts July 9th. Get your book before the first meeting and follow the suggested reading guidelines posted below.
Come enjoy weeks of discussion, socialization, and fun prizes.
Dates: Thurs. July 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th
Time: 7-9pm
Details: We provide the space, refreshments, prizes, and ride home.
Bonus: Back-To-School Party just like last year! (More details to follow)
- July 9th: Introduction to the book, characters, setting, and genre. Socialize!!
- July 16th: Join the debate night. Discuss possible debates.
- July 23rd: Debate Night! Opinions, opinions, opinions...bring them! Vote on ending and suggested activity for next week.
- July 30th: Rewards Night! Reward yourself for a job well done. Join in the fun, possibly inspirational activity!
